Saving Private Coke machines

Stevie Sandune. Where are you?

above: Diet Coke. 3 ads directed by Dave Ramser for the Artists Company. Starred 'Lucy' from Twin Peaks.
right: the Snow Queen's castle built for one of three Nissan commercials. Directed by Peter Christopherson for APP. After the studio shoot we went to the north of Sweden (in January) where I had to paint some giant snowballs white in a blizzard. Daft business.

Stuart Clarke slaved over this portrait

left & above: Mercury One2One commercial where Vic Reeves has a One2One with Terry Thomas. Directed by Mehdi for Joy Films. Four sets built in Pinewood to replicate sets from Terry Thomas films plus location work with an ancient plane and a modern crane to 'help' it fly.

right & below: Head & Shoulders. Now that was a nice set. Ando-esque pool from which giant models with dandruff emerged. Directed by Jonathan Lennard and exquisitly produced by Claire Mitchell for Rogue. Shame the clip never made it onto our screens. The poser on the rock is Ivan Bird, the model is me. In the bottom picture you can just see the start of the whirlpool where the giant girls sprung from. Bob Hollow and team built an hydraulic ram in the tank under the water to create the concentric waves. The floor stayed dry all week.

left & below: One, an Austrian mobile phone operator. Directed by Lee Donaldson for the Artists Company. An Austrian trendy bar although there was some dispute as to the shape of the bottle shelves behind the bar. Something to do with Serbia. Still I was pleased with the set, as were most of the crew.
